 Little Sweethearts Contest
 This annual event is open to children between the ages of birth and 5 years old, living in the Middlebury School District.
Twenty children will make up the “court”. A king and a queen will be crowned in the 37 months to 5 years age group. A prince and princess will come from the birth to 36 months age group. Voting canisters will be in the lobby of the First State Bank of Middlebury from Monday, July 27th to Friday, August 7th.
Voting is counted as one cent equals one vote. Of course, that means that $1.00 is equal to 100 votes! (And paper money is always easier to count!) The money collected from the votes is used to help finance future Summer Festivals plus we make a sizable donation to a local charity, which was Pack A Back Pack in 2008. The big day is Saturday, August, 8th when the winners are announced. This takes place on the Brown Street Stage at 11:00 Saturday morning.
